Aloysius grew up in a family of three, with two boys and one girl. He is the second born and the eldest boy. Aloysius started music in high school where he joined the choir in his senior one. His turning point though was in his senior three where he opted for music. Aloysius thereafter joined the school choir and traditional music troupe. Later in his senior years, he joined the brass and jazz band where he played the trumpet and guitar respectively.

About Me

Aloysius Migadde is a multi-talented instrumentalist whose musical preference and specialty is the electric guitar. Aloysius is a freelance guitarist with a revolutionary virtuoso guitar style, where he uses his electric guitar to create sounds from indigenous African musical instruments. Aloysius is based in Uganda, East Africa. His live performances are a once seen, never forgotten musical experiences. Aloysius also holds a bachelor of Arts degree in Music.

Festivals

Aloysius has worked on a number of music events and festivals such as; Rondalla Plucked Strings Music Festival, Yilan International Arts Festival, Umoja Cultural Flying Carpet, Jazz Safari 2018, Soul Safari 2018, Kirk Whalum Rotary Fundraising 2019. He has also accompanied artistes on festivals such as; Bayimba, Doadoa, Nyegenyege Festival, Fete De LA Music, Burundi, Yella Festival, Blankets and Wine. Aloysius has undertaken Internship with Lake Of Stars Festival, Malawi, Kenya Schools’ Music Festival. Aloysius has also worked with professional bands such as; Baxmba Waves, Black Roots Unlimited. Roots Worriors, Tropical Noyz, Die Quintent Band, Unit 446, Music Connections, Magic Horns among many others .

Aloysius did a Bakisimba music album on guitar, which incorporates a unique playing style that depicts the Ndingidi (Tube fiddle) and it was out on the 12 of August 2019. It has 7 songs. It is basically a fusion of Bakisimba music and other styles.The main theme of the album is to introduce the guitar playing style Where the guitar depicts the sound of the Ndingidi.
